Student Learning Guides

Study guides were provided to students when they enrolled in the program. One of the principles on which our program was based was the importance of publicly stated goals and objectives.  These public statements informed all of our program practices including course and comprehensive degree examinations. Every course included and explanation of the self-, instructor-, and fieldwork teacher evaluations based on our goals and objectives. The program goals and objectives were reflected in the Performance Evaluation Instrument (PEI).  Nothing was a surprise. Students appreciated the guidance provided by our program descriptions, publicly stated training goals, the information about the PEI, study questions, and faculty input during advising.
